Welcome to the official site of Friends of Yates, Inc. Yates is a longstanding force in the Kansas City, Kansas community and it continues to provide services and a sense of identity to children, youth, adults, and senior citizens. From its inception, Yates Branch has offered educational and recreational programs for these groups, emphasizing civic and social responsibility, religion, the arts, health and family leisure activities.
Friends of Yates, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that carries the legacy of the Yates Branch YWCA.

The Friends of Yates is an important resource to community members who are in need. In the last year alone, we provided:
